NFL Rookie Watch: Week 13 Stuck

It was a huge week for rookies in the NFL. As I went over in the NFL weekend rewind, four rookies led big comebacks this week. We see the first time all year with no defensive players on the list. It's just been a big week for offensive players.

5) RB Alfred Morris, Washington Redskins

Tied for the rushing lead with Doug Martin, but falls lower in the rankings as he has less touchdowns and less receiving yards than Martin. Morris would probably be getting more attention if he weren't on the same team as Robert Griffin III.

4) RB Doug Martin, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

As I noted above, the muscle hamster has slightly better stats than Morris, but if the Redskins keep winning it will be tempting to move Morris up. Martin has slowed down this week, but the Broncos defense will do that.

2-Tied) Andrew Luck and Russell Wilson

Wilson has the better stats, while Luck has the better record. It's tough to separate the two. Luck is in the top five in passing, but he also has a higher number of turnovers. Meanwhile, Wilson is the cardiac kid. He seems to find a way to win and not turn the ball over.

1) QB Robert Griffin III, Washington Redskins

Griffin bested Cam Newton's rookie rushing record by a quarterback this week. He's also incredibly accurate and find ways to avoid turnovers, but when he does turn the ball over, apparently they turn into offensive touchdowns. Three straight wins have the Redskins back in the playoff hunt and he's playing a major role in that.
